Any visit to or use of the EDX MEDICAL website pages constitutes an agreement by you to abide by these Terms of Use. EDX MEDICAL reserves the right to delete, modify, or supplement the content of our website(s) at any time or for any reason without notification. You are bound by any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit this page to review the current terms of use.
These terms & conditions relate to Products and Services made available on https://edxmedical.co.uk (the “website”) and any related Application (the”app”) operated by EDX Medical (“EDX Medical, we/us/our”) or bought through one of our partners. EDX Medical assumes no responsibility for the misuse of Products, nor the use of Products or Services outside the terms of this agreement.
Products and Services offered by EDX Medical are available for purchase by healthcare organisations or healthcare professionals resident and registered within mainland United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, the Scottish Isles. Certain Products and Services are also available in Europe and other territories. If you are contacting us from outside the United Kingdom, please specify your jurisdiction so that we provide relevant information.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Conditions and Our Services
1.1. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By placing an order through our website, you agree to use our Services in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions govern the supply of Products and Services for use in health screening and diagnosis, the processing of your samples and the return of your results, including but not limited to providing you with a sample collection kit and service, sample processing, data analysis and interpretation of results, reporting results to you and if required, reporting to Government or other official bodies, and uploading of your results onto your personal folder on the EDX Medical client portal.
1.2. Please note: By using this service, you agree to and understand these Terms. You may not use our services if you do not accept these Terms & Conditions. You will be asked to agree to these Terms & Conditions again at the point of registration or prior to placing an order or making any purchase on our website.
1.3. To utilise the service associated with the products and services offered by EDX Medical you must obtain internet access and pay any associated fees. You acknowledge and agree that while EDX Medical may not currently have set a fixed limit on the number of transmissions you may send or receive through the Service, or on the amount of storage space used for the provision of any Service associated with EDX Medical Products or Services, it may do so in the future.
1.4. EDX Medical is an innovator in healthcare testing and as a result, you acknowledge and agree that the services which EDX Medical provides may change from time to time without prior notice to you. You acknowledge and agree that EDX Medical may also pause or cease the provision of some Services without prior notice to you.
2. Privacy Policy
2.1. It’s important that you read and understand our Privacy Policy which details how we collect and use information. You must agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy to use our Services. 3. Product & Service Fees & Payment
3.1. The unit price of any Product or Service available for purchase will be quoted on our website or be provided upon request (and if applicable, on our partners’ websites or in the applicable store). These prices may vary due to availability of promotional offers, vouchers/coupons or periodic sales. We reserve the right to withdraw or terminate any promotion or offer at any time or where fraud is suspected. All Product and Service fees are shown including any Tax and delivery charges if applicable.
3.2. By placing an order, you confirm that all payment and personal details provided by you are accurate and valid.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Be advised that delivery times may vary depending on the time and day of your order, in particular if orders are placed prior to or on weekends or bank holidays. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to check that the expected delivery times are suitable and meet your requirements, thus ensuring any purchased Products or Services arrive with enough time to be used and / or returned for processing, so that results will also be available when required.
EDX Medical’s liability will be no less than your statutory consumer rights.
4.1. All orders are shipped as soon as possible, typically within 48 hours of receipt of your order.
4.2. We will notify you in the unlikely event of any exceptional circumstance, out of stock products or delays in transit relating to your order.
4.3. We will provide you with the results of tests processed by posting your result in the secure portal on the EDX Medical website, accessible via your personal link. We will promptly notify you of the completion of the requested test and will promptly notify you if your test is unable to be analysed for any reason.
4.4. Whilst we aim to deliver a rapid and reliable testing service, you acknowledge that due to the risk of courier or postal delays we cannot guarantee that your results will be available within a specific time period.
4.5. We offer a courier delivery and collection service. When using this service, you will be asked to provide a collection place and date/time for your sample to be collected in good time for their return to the laboratory. If you fail to provide your samples at the booked time you will be liable for the costs and missed collection. You can re-schedule collection with the courier service using the online booking platform. You acknowledge that your samples are sent entirely at your own risk.
4.6. If you have further medical appointments or are travelling, you understand and agree that it is your responsibility to ensure that you have calculated the time necessary so that you receive your results in good time. We are not liable for any missed appointments, loss or damage because of such delay, as set out in paragraph 12.
5. Cancellation & Returns
5.1. Orders may be cancelled only if you notify EDX Medical and receive confirmation prior to dispatch of your sample kit. Due to the medical nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns of any products once dispatched. All cancellation requests must be submitted using the contact form on the website or via service@edxmedical.com.
5.2. For cancellation requests state ‘Cancellation Request Order – – – -’ in the subject line of your email to us. Please provide the order number (Order- – – –) provided with your original order. Once your request has been submitted EDX Medical will contact you by email with instructions on how to process your request.
6. Termination of Orders
6.1. If you wish to terminate your legal agreement with EDX Medical, you may do so by submitting your request to EDX Medical at service@edxmedical.com. We will send an email to the email address linked to your user account asking you to verify your request. Upon confirmation we will process your request to delete your data, and you will no longer be able to use your account. See EDX Medical’s Privacy Policy for details.
7. Changes to Terms & Conditions
7.1. You acknowledge and agree that we may revise and update our Terms & Conditions from time to time and that you are not permitted to make any changes to our Terms & Conditions. Any changes to our Terms & Conditions will be posted on our website. By purchasing our Products or Services, you agree to any changes to our Terms & Conditions without notice.
8. Disclaimers
8.1. You acknowledge and agree that EDX Medical, its licensors and Licensees own all legal right, title and interest in and to the Products and Services, including any intellectual property rights which subsist in the Products and Services. You also acknowledge that the Services may contain information which is designated confidential by EDX Medical and that you shall not disclose such information without prior written consent from EDX Medical.
8.2. You further acknowledge and agree that the Services and any necessary software used in connection with the Services contain proprietary and confidential information that is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. You also acknowledge and agree that information presented to you through the Services or Partners is protected by copyrights, trademarks, patents or any other proprietary rights and laws.
8.3. Our Products and Services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any diseases or disorders and are not a substitute for medical advice. Nor is the information supplied via our Services or on our website or App or other material, intended to replace the individual advice available from your own doctor or a qualified healthcare professional. You should always seek the advice of your doctor or a qualified healthcare professional with any questions you may have regarding test or health information. If you have a recurring or a medically diagnosed health condition that concerns you, you agree to seek medical advice from your GP (General Practitioner) or specialist consultant before making changes to your lifestyle.

ALTHOUGH EDX Medical WILL USE REASONABLE EFFORTS TO INCLUDE UP-TO-DATE AND ACCURATE INFORMATION ON www.edxmedical.co.uk, EDX Medical MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, OR ASSURANCES THAT THE INFORMATION ON www.edxmedical.co.uk IS OR WILL BE TIMELY, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETE.
NEITHER EDX Medical NOR ANY OTHER PARTY INVOLVED IN CREATING www.edxmedical.co.uk IS LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EEDX MEDICALEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LITIGATION, OR THE LIKE) ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO, INABILITY TO ACCESS, OR USE OF www.edxmedical.co.uk, OR FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED ON www.edxmedical.co.uk, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO AS A RESULT OF ANY BUGS OR VIRUSES THAT MAY INFECT YOUR COMPUTER PROGRAMS OR EQUIPMENT. 9. Waivers
9.1. EDX Medical or a partner laboratory may not be able to process your sample if it does not contain sufficient material to assess or the results from processing are not deemed to be statistically reliable. The laboratory process may itself result in errors. If the initial processing of your sample fails, EDX Medical will attempt to re-process the same sample at no additional charge to you if technically possible. If the second attempt to process the same sample also fails, EDX Medical will promptly inform you and may at their sole discretion, accept a second sample collection.
9.2. If you breach this Agreement, EDX Medical will not undertake to continue processing samples from your order or provide you with a refund for any sample in process.
9.3. Although extremely rare a small proportion of the data generated during the laboratory process may be un-interpretable or erroneous. EDX Medical will endeavour to resolve such errors, but customers are not entitled to refunds where these exceptional errors occur.
9.4. The failure of EDX Medical to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of the Terms & Conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavour to give effect to the parties’ intentions, and other provisions of the Terms & Conditions remain in full force and effect.
9.5. These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and EDX Medical and govern your use of the Products and Services, superseding any prior agreements between you and EDX Medical on this subject. You also may be subject to additional terms and conditions when you use affiliate services, third-party content or software.
9.6. You may not assign or delegate any rights or obligations under this Agreement. Any attempted assignment or delegation shall be ineffective. We may freely assign or delegate all rights and obligations under this Agreement, fully or partially without notice to you. We may also substitute, by way of unilateral novation, effective upon notice to you, any third party that assumes our rights and obligations under this Agreement.
9.7. If you violate the Terms & Conditions in this Agreement or EDX Medical has reasonable grounds to suspect that you have violated these Terms & Conditions EDX Medical has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any current or future use our Products or Services.
9.8 EDX Medical may make available to the visitor links to third-party websites over which EDX Medical has no control. EDX Medical has not reviewed the sites that may be linked to www.edxmedical.co.uk and does not endorse and is not responsible for the content of any other sites. Other sites may be inaccurate or contain discussions regarding unapproved uses of drugs, medical devices, or other products. Your linking to such sites is at your own risk, and EDX Medical shall not be liable for any damage or injury arising from their content or your use thereof.
9.9 You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for your computer system. EDX Medical may employ cookie technology to, among other things, allow users to move more quickly through the site. Cookies are small files a website can use to recognize repeat users and facilitate the user’s ongoing access to and use of the site. Generally, cookies work by assigning a unique number to the user that has no meaning outside the assigning site. Users should be aware that EDX Medical cannot control the use of cookies by third parties.
10. Proprietary Rights
10.1. You agree that you shall not remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary rights, notices including copyright and trademarks that may be associated with or contained within the Service and any other brand features of EDX Medical.
11. Notices
11.1. Notices from EDX Medical will be made by either email to the email address provided upon your registration, by post to the address provided when upon placing an order on the website or posted on our website. All Notices to EDX Medical must be provided by using the contact form on the contact us page.
12. Our Liability
12.1. We do not exclude or limit our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so.
12.2. If we fail to comply with these Terms & Conditions, we are only responsible for refunding you the cost of the test excluding delivery costs.
12.3. We are not liable or responsible for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to:
a) wasted or unforeseen additional expenditure;
b) any costs or fees related to cancelled, delayed, missed or rescheduled travel;
c) costs incurred for non-EDX Medical tests,
d) hotel, food and drink or parking charges incurred in the use of EDX Medical Products and Services;
e) inconvenience, wasted time;
f) loss or earnings or any business losses;
